Metil Diantilis (dianthus ethone)

CAS Number: 5595-79-9

An elegant, spicy/sweet ingredient with an olfactory note similar to Isoeugenol, but with an additional powdery look reminiscent of cloves (Dianthus caryophyllus). Unlike Isoeugenol, methyl diantilis is much less susceptible to discoloration and, most importantly, is not restricted by the IFRA. (Givaudan)

Olfactory practice recommended in a 10% (or less) solution on an olfactory tape.
